Biography:

Sharon Litwin, RN, BSHS, MHA, HCS-D, COQS assists homecare and hospice agencies in providing quality, meeting regulations, managing efficiently, and enhancing patient/Agency outcomes. She has been developing and implementing QAPI programs for over 30 years.

Sharon Litwin was the founder and senior managing partner of 5 Star Consultants, a national consulting and coding firm specializing in homecare and hospice services since 2003, selling the company to HPS in 2020. Sharon was also an ACHC surveyor as well as a former CHAP surveyor, performing Medicare-deemed surveys for ten years.

Sharon regularly speaks at national and state associations and many other organizations on topics such as QAPI, continued survey readiness, case management, OASIS assessments and diagnosis coding, management, and operational topics, as well as various other topics integral to being successful in the homecare and hospice industry.
